Apple TV Fandango at Home: CC stuck on, no icon

I am using an A1625 (32gb) AppleTV with tvOS 26.5. My trouble is with the Fandango at Home app, and they are telling me it is an Apple issue. When watching the films in My Library, suddenly the Closed Captions are on every time, and the CC icon to disable them is gone. I have power cycled, deleted and reinstalled the app, checked the television and AppleTV settings. Everything there is fine. When using the iPhone app, Captions are turned off, and the CC icon is visible. The problem started yesterday, May 26, 2026 and affects every file I play on that app.
