Every password on every platform is in correct when it is FACTUALLY not.

I recently restarted my phone. Same Iphone, same account, no password changes, yet I find every single email, or account on EVERY SINGLE website or app is wrong. I KNOW my passwords by heart, and yet each and every one is labeled as incorrect, when it is not. Even on accounts that are shared, where I am given the users, email, and password IN REAL TIME, it still shows up “This password is incorrect”. What is going on with my phone? Why is EVERY password incorrect?

iPhone 14, iOS 26

Your iPhone's system keychain, secure enclave, or network time has likely desynchronized or glitched following the restart, causing it to corrupt autofill inputs, block secure handshakes, or feed incorrect cached data to apps and browsers.

Try this

  • Test Outside of Autofill: Manually type your real-time or memorized passwords using a different device (like a computer or a friend's phone) rather than your iPhone. If they work there, your phone's autofill or keychain data is corrupted.
  • Check Date and Time Settings: Go to Settings > General > Date & Time and make sure Set Automatically is turned on. If your phone's internal clock drifted after the reboot, every security certificate and token on the internet will reject your login requests.
  • Toggle iCloud Keychain: Go to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Passwords and Keychain, turn it off, restart your phone again, and turn it back on to force a clean resync.
  • Reset Network Settings: Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings to clear out any corrupted connection caches blocking server authentication.
