Expanded Print Dialog Box
I have a Brother MFC-L2807DW
In all applications except Word, I get an expanded Print Dialog Box when I click print. Excel also reveals an expanded box.
Is this caused by the printer, MSFT, or Apple or combination….. and can I get Word to reveal the expanded Print Box by default in some way?

Each application customizes the default print window in its own way. I agree that Excel and Pages (and most other applications, as far as I can tell) do it in a better way.
Microsoft owns Word. Only they can make changes to how it works. You may want to provide them with your feedback.
Expanded how? Can you post screenshots of the print window in Word and in another application?
It seems to me that you just need to scroll down (or enlarge the window vertically) to reveal the other options in the Print window.
The print dialog box in Pages (for instance) can only expand vertically, and that is true with the print dialog box in Word v16.109.1. This may be further complicated in how Brother has further accessorized the print dialog with their driver.
I was always selecting copies and pages for the reveal…never noticed/thought of scroll bar.
However, it would be nice if there was consistency between apps especially across MSFT apps.
Seeing the Excel layout is much more helpful than scrolling since it allows the user to see some of the "important" print options without doing anything, but your help is great.
