Contact drafts reappear; AI suggestions not working

Saving a contact will keep showing the unsaved draft even if we press the save tick multiple times. It will keep coming back again and again. If we press the tick multiple times, the contact will save multiple times. Updating a contact also behaves the same way.

AI sometimes doesn’t show any replacements, no matter what we type. It literally won’t provide any replacements or even grammar corrections.

This happens when the app successfully writes the contact to your local storage but fails to receive a confirmation from your cloud account (like iCloud, Google Contacts, or Outlook). Because it thinks the save failed, it keeps the draft open. Every time you press save, it creates a new entry.

Force stop the app: Completely close the contacts or phone app from your device's multitasking screen.
Toggle cloud sync: Go to your phone's main settings, turn off contact synchronization for your primary account, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on.
