Safari URL and tab title text size not increasing

Safari URL text is too small. Is there a way to make it bigger? I have scaled up the whole monitor and set the "always use" text size 24 but these have little effect on the URL box or the tab title box. I've attached a screenshot to demonstrate. For an older person, this is most awkward, especially if you spelled the URL wrong but can't see the text to fix it. Thanks in advance for any help on this. Running Mac mini M4 on latest Tahoe (26.5) and Safari 26.5. My display is a new Apple Studio 2 Display. Thanks in advance for any help with this. Btw. The screenshot in this question is at least twice a big as on my monitor.

Sorry, no, there is no settings in Safari that would increase the URL field. You need to play with the screen resolution to get what you need.

You actually can choose in-between sizes. In System Settings > Displays, click the Advanced button (bottom of the screen), turn on "Show Resolutions as list" and click Done:

Then, turn on "Show all resolutions" to display all the resolutions available for your monitor (The list below will most likely not correspond to the one you'll see as I use an iMac 5K):

Finally, select one of the lower resolutions, one you are comfortable with.
