Albums in iTunes Store search results do not open on iPad

On my iPad, when I open the iTunes store and I search for anything (it has to be search results, of any kind), I tap on the albums section from the search results, and nothing happens.


Normally, I expect for the album to open in a new pop-up, with all its songs, but that does not happen.


It doesn't matter how many times I tap, the album refuses to open. Tapping on songs also doesn't do anything, but tapping on the song thumbnail does play a short preview of the song.


Killing iTunes or restarting the iPad does not solve the issue

I can replicate the behaviour that you describe. This does appear to be a bug - at least in the current version of iPad that I am able to test - at the time of writing, this being iPadOS 26.5.


It would be in your own best interests to submit a Bug Report to Apple via its Product Feedback portal. For iPad and iPadOS:

Feedback - iPad - Apple


Every Bug Report counts - as Apple might not assign resources to investigate and resolve the problem until a sufficient number of reports have been received,


When submitting a Bug Report, ensure that you include details of your iPad model and installed version of iPadOS within the body-text of your report. Don't rely upon the pick-list alone - as this rarely includes the current versions.
