Using a 16 pro and mac pro, I have difficulty keeping both connected to phonak hearing aids. One or the other will often drop bluetooth, such as when the phone rings the mac will drop out; alternatively the phone will drop when audio is played on the mac. What to do? The hearing aids are selected for sound effect and for input/output on the mac. What to do?

it is not expected that regular bluetooth devices like headsets, earbuds, or Phonak hearing Aids can "pair" to two devices at the same time.
Connect ONLY to your phone, and you can answer your calls with ease.
Otherwise, you WILL have to un-pair and re-pair to change sound sources.
Some MFI hearing Aids (which most Phonak Hearing aids are not) can handle connecting to multiple devices slightly better, but this often involves adding another device, such as a TV Streamer, to service the second sound source, such as the Mac or a TV set.
