Mac connected to wifi but cannot access internet.

Hi on my mac I cannot browse using chromium based browsers, such as Chrome. I can connect to wifi and access things like messages, and browsing works on safari and webkit browsers, but anytime I try browsing anything on chrome nothing loads. I frequently get the message that "This site can’t be reached The connection was reset" with the ERR_CONNECTION_RESET issue. I've restarted my mac, updated both it and chrome, and ultimately deleted and redownloaded chrome with no results. I've tried as many solutions as I could find already existing on the internet with no success. Please help me fix this!

Try using any other browser besides Chrome... if you have no issues there, it would seem to point to Chrome.

For your third party app—if in doubt search the developers website or contact their: Support/Help/FAQ/Known issues/compatibility...

you can try renewing the DHCP Lease

you can try changing DNS servers.. if in doubt use the search field in >System Settings

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/VPN/Anti-Virus

all known to cause issues on the macOS
