Music app Recently Played missing from Home on iMac

The Music App has stopped displaying the "Recently Played" category when I select "Home" in the upper left corner of the app directly below "Search". Previously, it would continually add the item playing on the left and kept at least 25 or 30 items of my history. I have tried closing and re-opening the app, signing out and back in and also restarting the iMac but it is still missing.
