One image folder not transferring to iPad Pro 5th gen, 12.9

Hello all, I load multiple image folders from my PC or iMac to my iPad Pro 12.9 5th gen.

All the folders (about 50 or so) transfer over… except for one folder.

there doesn’t appear to be anything in the folder that is causing an issue, and I’ve gone over it quite a few times with other software looking for an issue, nothing. The stats of the folder match the others that have successfully loaded.

I have renamed it, moved images to a new folder and tried to install it, but it won’t appear anywhere. I’ve reset my photo cashe as well. Any suggestions besides resetting everything?

Following along the suggestion that it might have to do with the contents of the folder:

Have you tried a "tiger fence" approach? Try moving half of the images to one new folder and the other half to another on your computer and seeing if either half can be loaded to the iPad. If only one half fails, repeat the experiment, dividing the failed half into halves (quarters of the original). Continue until you are down to one image that causes failure (despite your tests with other software).

The above assumes that there is only one image causing the problem. Finding multiples requires a more elaborate testing pattern.

Thank you! Lightbulb moment!

I took out everything that wasn’t a jpg or png.. no change. So I will go further to deduce the problem, I will keep you posted.
