Cannot unhide apps; options missing

It is difficult to tell where you are looking with the partial screenshot. Swipe all the way to the left of your Home Screens to get to the App Library, then on the bottom of that page you should see the Hidden apps category that your will need to authenticate with Face ID/Touch ID or Passcode to open and reveal the apps. You should see it here:

You can stop hiding an app so that you can see it.

1. Go to the Home Screen.
2. Swipe left past all your Home Screen pages to go to App Library.
3. Tap the Hidden folder at the bottom of App Library, then authenticate using Face ID (or Touch ID or a passcode).
4. To move the app out of the Hidden folder, touch and hold the app, tap Don’t Require Face ID (or Touch ID or Passcode), then authenticate using Face ID (or Touch ID or a passcode). 
5. The app appears near the top of App Library.

You don't do it in Settings. You go to the App Library and on the bottom there is a Hidden Folder where the app will reside inside that folder. You will not see it listed individually in the App Library because it has been hidden and you will need to use FaceID/TouchID or Passcode to open the Hidden Folder found in the App Library.
