I have an iPhone X and want to install the GarageBand app from the App Store, but it’s not compatible. I need that application, please provide me with a solution to install the older version of this app. This app was very important to me, so I would really appreciate your help.
Earlier iPhone models
If the app has been installed on your device in the past, you should be able to download it again by using the Purchase History list, if Apple still provides a compatible version.
Redownload apps from Apple - Apple Support
I’ve used this application before. Now, I’ve reset it and given it to my kids. However, when I tried to install it, I received a message stating that iOS 26 is required for this installation. I need a download option for this application that supports iOS 16 on an iPhone X.
Actually, I gave my iPhone X to my daughter, who used her own account. I was surprised when the app, which had been functioning under iOS 16, suddenly showed incompatibility with that version. It would be preferable to have an app that operates on iOS 16. Please help me resolve this, as I need the app.
Is the iPhone still set up with your Apple Account? If not, and as far as I remember, downloading a compatible version will not work in that case.
