MacBook Air M2 Overheats in Pages (26.4-newer)

My MacBook Air M2 is heating up like crazy when I use the new Pages app in Tahoe 26.4 or later, which includes the optional Apple Creative Studio. When ever I make a page, sometimes the device uses like 2 GB RAM just for it, and my energy usage skyrockets to like 600. How do I fix this? Other times RAM usage in the app is 300 MB, so I think it is a memory leak issue. Today, I used it to make a project and it ran cool and fine, but after I fully charged my laptop, it felt hot like the earths surface and it was using lots of my devices energy just at idle.
