The Cosmic Orange finish on my iPhone is automatically turning into a hot pink colour. I want to state categorically that this device has never been exposed to harsh chemicals, water, or moisture. Furthermore, the phone has been used entirely without a case since day one, eliminating any possibility of friction-based or material-transfer discolouration.
I have researched this issue extensively online. This is not an isolated incident caused by external factors or user neglect. Numerous other users have reported the exact same issue. Technical discussions and past precedents indicate that this is a failure in Apple’s anodisation process during manufacturing, which has failed on specific batches of this device.

- Timeline: This physical transformation occurred within the first 15 days of normal device usage.
- Nature of Defect: This is a pure manufacturing and engineering defect, not user-inflicted wear and tear.
