How to update shared apps without sharing password

Regarding family sharing, my daughter and I used to share the same apple account. Now she has her own account, with different log in info. However, every time she tries to update apps that we purchased under my account originally, it ALWAYS asks for my password. How do we stop this, so she does not use my password/account any longer and her device is not on my account? It just does not work right with family sharing for updating purchased content!

Delete the actual apps that were downloaded with the other account. They will keep on asking for that account to be signed into the device in order to update. Since you are using Family Sharing, in most cases you should be ale to download the apps using the new account and then they will identify with the new account information. The only issues may be that some apps cannot be shared, and some data will not transfer if it was Apple Account specific (you would have encountered that already).

Delete and redownload those applications; your account's information is stored inside them.
