Issue with Siri voice command on Apple Watch

Issues with Siri commands.

I have an IPhone 17 Pro Max and Watch s11, when I ask Siri on my IPhone she tells me the battery for both the watch and iphone but when I prompt Siri on Apple Watch to check battery level on the iphone she says to make sure it is on and close.

i do have it connected and the green icon that it is connected but i can not seem to make it work whatever I try and I want to have it handy to check on my phone when it is charging.

anyone has a solution or a fix?

thank you!

To fix Siri on your Apple Watch failing to check your iPhone battery, restart both devices, turn Bluetooth off and back on, and ensure both are signed into the same iCloud account with Wi-Fi enabled. This specific glitch often stems from a temporary sync break between devices.

Try this

  • Restart both devices: Turn off your Apple Watch and your iPhone, then turn them back on.
  • Togglex Bluetooth: Go to Settings on both devices, turn Bluetooth off for ten seconds, and turn it back on.
  • Check iCloud connection: Make sure both devices use the exact same Apple ID.
  • Enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth: Keep both settings active on your iPhone and watch even if they are near each other.
  • Re-pair the watch: If nothing else works, unpair your Apple Watch and set it up again to refresh the connection.
