Suspicious emojis in Amazon confirmation request

While talking to Amazon I was sent a message to confirm my account. At the top of the confirmation request were emojis the salesperson said he didn’t send. This indicator has shown up before when my service was compromised.

The text message you received was a scam.

Simply block, report and delete the message.

Here is the exact phrase that most scammers use: "We have noticed some unusual activity", and in your case, the scammers used "confirm my account" in an attempt to fool you into believing their scam.

⛔️ Amazon would never send you a text message to confirm your credentials. ⚠️
