iPhone Calendar: Repeated 'Location changed' notices

Repeated address change notifications in Calendar after adding a stay from Booking.com

iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 26.5

How to repro:

Book something in Booking.com in advance (give yourself a few days)

Add a booking from Booking.com to your calendar

Notice that about once per day, you get a calendar notification for the booking that "Location changed" - except it hasn't.

Accept the location change to make it go away. (I can find the notice after accepting)

Reported here and closed with no actual help so now I have to spend my time re-reporting it instead of just giving a comment: Repeated Address Change Notifications fro… - Apple Community

I found a suggestion to try fixing this - it was that the notification is related to Siri, and allowing Apple to learn from your apps and activity.

I have gone into Settings --> Apple Intelligence & Siri --> Apps --> Booking.com and then turned off "Learn from this app"

Since the "fix" is to NOT receive a notification, I'll have to wait a day or two to see if I no longer get these annoying updates. I'll try to remember to post back.

This did not work. I just got another notification. I'm now trying Settings --> Apps --> Calendar --> Apple Intelligence & Siri --> turn off "Learn from this App" and we will see.

It looks like this comes up frequently (if you search for "location changed" many appear), with Booking and other apps, but they get closed. Is there an open ticket with Apple for this issue?
