MacBook Pro: Sync files after incompatible OneDrive update

I have a macbook pro with serial C02***6 running Ventura 13.7.8. It has been on auto-update and installed an incompatible version of the OneDrive app, hence I have an unknown number of files not synchronized with OneDrive cloud. What is the best approach to ensure that i don't lose any updates. Is there a manual way for me to sync the files?

It is not clear to me whether you are asking about the Microsoft "OneDrive" product, or automatic macOS updates. You can disable the latter, but you are already running the latest version of Ventura.

Thanks for the advice. I have turned off the automatic updates.

I have been very happy with the OneDrive solution until this update. It silently died, and I have a large number of files with unclear status between my MacBook and the cloud.

I will read up on the links provided. My preference is to use the MacBook I already have (although a bit old) and find a stable solution for my workflow.

You are right, I should contact Microsoft support since the issue is probably related to the OneDrive app. Auto-update to a non-working app is an interesting feature.
