Voice to text and predictive text rot

What is going on with vtt (and sometimes predictive text)? It habitually reverses the meanings of messages (inserting the word "don't" into critical phrases like "I want to see you," for instance), and chooses proper names over common words, resulting in sentences like "I Wood like Coffey instead of Thea, Howe about you?" and "I'm Knott home right now." It does this even if it initially gets the sentence right, sometimes changing it up just as I'm hitting the send button. I have to be ridiculously careful about editing.

Am I the only one experiencing this?

I have not and would recommend 3 things for you:

Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset > Reset > Reset Keyboard Dictionary.
Go to Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri > Siri & Dictation History and Delete Siri & Dictation History.
Go to Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri > Talk to Siri, and turn it off. Wait a few seconds then turn it back on to reinitialize Siri.

No I don't - I have a very neutral American accent, trained in voiceover acting. Most other North Americans can't tell where I'm from.
The words I'm talking about are pronounced the same in either version - it's not the sound that the system is getting wrong, it's the context and spelling - "Coffey" instead of coffee, "Knot" instead of not, etc. - the accent is irrelevant.
