I have changed my own contact poster/photo in my card however when people call me they can see the old one from 2 years ago..? I’m at a loss as to how to rectify this and I’ve tried two different times and nothing works…any ideas??

iPhone 16 Pro Max, iOS 26
Open the Contacts app > Tap your name in the top > Tap Edit in the top-right corner > Tap Edit once more > From there you can edit your Avatar and poster that others see when you call. Also on that same page, you'll want to scroll down and tap Share Automatically to Contacts Only. Rather than asking you to share with each contact, it will automatically do so.
Keep in mind that once you do that, it will update for others. But, if certain people already have a profile picture/poster set for you, or choose not to update to your new one, they will still see the old one.

Yeah I knew how to update the card with the photo/poster….but the one I used over a year ago is still showing on other people’s phones when they call me not my updated one 🤷🏻♀️ nothing to do with a one they may have used for me
