iPhone 11 sound/haptics bug where volume just remain low after activating & deactivating silent mode, iOS 26.

Hi everyone,

I currently use an iPhone 11 running iOS 26. Before updating, I never had any issues with Sound & Haptics. However, since installing iOS 26, I've been experiencing a bug where the ringtone and alert volume stays low after turning Silent Mode on and then off.

Because of this, I've missed important calls, alarms, messages, and notifications. To temporarily fix it, I have to keep going into Sound & Haptics and manually increase the volume, but the issue keeps returning. This was never a problem for me on iOS 18.

The bug has become quite frustrating because it disrupts my daily routine and makes me worry about missing important notifications. Please let me know what information or diagnostics you need from me to help identify and resolve this issue. I would greatly appreciate a fix.

Thank you.

Not every issue an individual encounters on their device can be attributed to an iOS update. If the update itself were the root cause, then every device running that same version of iOS would exhibit the identical problem. In such a scenario, the forums would be flooded with countless posts reporting the same malfunction, creating an unmistakable wave of complaints that no one could possibly overlook. The absence of such widespread reports strongly indicates that the issue is not systemic, but rather specific to the device in question.
