Live Listen with non-MFi Phonak Audeo hearing aids?

The official article on the subject talks about setup by connecting your MFI hearing devices with your iPhone.

As far as I know, Phonak has never invested in the technology for making their hearing aids MFI compatible.

if this is a feature you want, you really should contact your provider AND Phonak support about how to do this.

That isn't something that Phonak supports with Apple devices (I know firsthand). Phonak sells its own remote microphone for that service (for a hefty price IIRC).

You can explore Phonak's various pre-programmed settings and see if there's an extended feature that helps a bit in those situations. If you choose a program, there may be filters to let you enhance remote sounds, filter out certain frequencies, etc. I know I was sitting at a large table and a group came and sat down next to me, chattering away loudly. I told my right hearing aid to set volume to zero so I could hear my friends to my left.

The instructions say they have to be MFi certifed. But there's nothing to stop you from trying.
