Does anyone know a keyboard shortcut for closing dialog windows such as the 'Text Colour' box that appears when you're selecting a colour for text in Pages, Keynote etc (image below)?
I've been using Mac for 20+ years and know a ton of shortcuts but have never worked out how to do this without a mouse!

In Keynote or Pages, you can use shift + command + C to show and hide the Color Picker window.
In Keynote or Pages, you can use shift + command + C to show and hide the Color Picker window.
In the time it takes one to press the shift+cmd+C keys to toggle that color picker on or off, one can also click the red traffic light on that color picker window to close it. Especially true if your hand is already on the mouse.
