Logitech Combo Touch not detected on reattach; onscreen keyboard appears

Fix for detecting Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard after detaching the keyboard. On reattach while typing input is detected Apple’s own onscreen keyboard pops up also. General fixes circulated are to go to Accessibility and toggle Keyboard off on, etc or to restart the iPad. A simpler fix is to close the keyboard cover on the screen and re open this. Found this by accident and it works. Only issue is I have put the settings to lock the screen on closing the cover so have to unlock it.

Its as I explained. After reattaching the keyboard part of the case just close the keyboard over the screen like closing any cover over the screen and reopen it. It should work.

If it does not fix the issue and the setting is not to lock the iPad when the keyboard cover part is closed enable the setting to lock the iPad when the keyboard is closed. This does the trick.

Not sure if I can share a video for the steps but I'm guessing this should help.
