Hi, your iPhone is probably stuck on a charging state or it may be detecting a cable/port issue even after unplugging. Apple says restarting the iPhone, checking the charging port for debris or liquid, and trying a different cable/charger are the first simple fixes.

Try these steps

  1. Restart your iPhone. Press the side button and volume button together, then slide to power off. Turn it back on after a few seconds.
  2. Check the charging port. Look inside the USB-C port for dust, lint, or moisture. Clean it gently with a soft brush if needed.
  3. Use another cable and charger. A damaged cable or charger can make the phone think it is still connected or charging.
  4. Update iOS. Apple notes iOS updates can fix charging-related issues on iPhone 17 models.
