How to flash M2 firmware with a different device (Not another M2 computer)

My Mac Mini M2 stopped working as I resized the partitions to make space for a Asahi Fedora Remix Linux OS and while the terminal was doing something, forgot what it was that involves the disk, I turned it off to go to sleep forgetting it was doing something, which corrupted the firmware and left it in DFU mode. I have been trying to restore it using a laptop I installed Linux Mint on (Lenovo Yoga 530-14ikb) with idevicerestore. Whenever I try to flash it, I get an error "Device did not disconnect. Possibly invalid iBEC. Reset device and try again.". Is this because the M2 switches modes when it recieves an update, and is to accurate to be captured by other PCs? I also tried using the Apple Configurator app on my iPhone SE 3, but it disconnected every time. If there are no solutions, I'll just take it to an Apple store.

Mac mini, macOS 26.2
