To manage which apps can request to track your activity on iPhone:
- Open Settings.
- Go to Screen Time.
- Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions.
- Select Allow Apps to Request to Track.
- From here, you can enable or disable tracking requests for individual apps.
- Enable the toggle for apps you trust and want to allow tracking (for example, a fitness app that needs location data to provide accurate results).
- Disable the toggle for apps you don’t want tracking your device or activity.

This setting gives you control over whether apps can ask for permission to track your activity across other apps and websites. Tracking is often used for personalized ads or analytics. By enabling only the apps you choose, you protect your privacy while still allowing trusted apps to function properly. For instance:
- A shopping app may request tracking to show you relevant product ads.
- A navigation app may use tracking to improve route suggestions.
- A game app might request tracking for targeted promotions.
If you disable tracking requests entirely, apps won’t even ask for permission—they’ll be blocked from tracking by default.
