Lost all Calendar events on my devices

I suddenly lost all the events I saved in my Calendar app on my phone. When I checked, it randomly added the subscribed US Holidays Calendar and removed all my work and home events without me doing anything. Even when I toggled it off and made sure my usual work calendar on my iCloud was selected, I got back to a completely empty Calendar. I've tried almost every way to recover my events I could find on the internet, freed up storage, signed out and in into my iCloud account, reinstalled the app, visited the iCloud site for data restoring but none of it came back, tried changing the sync options to all events-6 months as people said it seemed to work for them and whatnot but no luck. I also tried doing some of the same steps on my MacBook with the same iCloud account signed in but it didn't work as well. If someone knows of this issue or has experienced it before, please help me out or suggest a different way to recover my stuff as I had saved very important events to keep track of and doing it all over again manually would be a big hassle and also increase chances of me missing some significant future events.
