Image playground has been stuck since the beginning of WWDC, and till now, it is not working at all. it is showing me "Downloading Support for image playground..." I am running macOS 26.5.1, and update regularly anyways, I tried quitting the app and relaunching, and nothing happened. I restarted the Mac. nothing.
Everything looks normal to me on activity monitor.
Anyone facing the same issue since the start of WWDC?
Hi there. It appears there was a bug preventing users from using the Image Playground or Genmoji for a few days, but it appears Apple has released a fix. Please try restarting your device and let us know how it goes.
According to this reply, the problem seems to be fixed (at least for iPhones): Image Playground not working iphone 17 pro - Apple Community. Give it another try.

Although i didnt restart the mac, it started working again, the day right after WWDC. IDK if it has anything to do with it, but what is important is that it works again.
