Hi,

Following following method could solve your issue, though you should get new printer which driver is supported Apple Silicon CPU.

To use your Samsung SCX-4300 on a MacBook Air running macOS Tahoe (v26.2), you'll need to bypass the modern installer by downloading the legacy driver from following link and extracting the package using a third-party tool like Pacifist.

Here is the step-by-step installation process:

Step 1: Download the Files

  1. Download the Samsung Printer Drivers v2.6 for OS X from Apple Support.
  2. Download Pacifist by CharlesSoft to extract the driver files.

Step 2: Extract the Driver

  1. Mount the downloaded SamsungPrinterDrivers.dmg file, but do not run the included .pkg installer directly (it will likely show an incompatible version error).
  2. Open the Pacifist app and select Open Package.
  3. Locate and select the SamsungPrinterDrivers.pkg file inside the mounted DMG.
  4. Click Install in the toolbar, follow the prompts, and enter your Mac's administrator password when requested.

Step 3: Add the Printer

  1. Power on your Samsung SCX-4300 and connect it to your MacBook Air via a USB cable.
  2. Go to the Apple menu > System Settings (or System Preferences) > Printers & Scanners.
  3. Click the Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax (or the +) button.
  4. Select your device from the list, click Select Software... (or the "Use" dropdown), and choose the specific SCX-4300 driver.

Note: As Samsung Printer are officially supported by HP, you may also want to use the web-based HP Easy Start / Start Samsung Printer Installer to see if it can automatically locate your legacy hardware.
