I stopped using MS a month ago. When I came back, some of my patches work and some3 don't. Also, I tried to connect a new patch to Kontakt 8, and while it says it's there, I'm not hearing anything. I've been thru the MIDI and Sound set ups but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Hello, this forum has been really very quiet for weeks now, not sure why.
Are all your instruments located on your main hard drive? i.e. were you using a USB drive to store your instruments as I wonder if it is not connected?
Have a look in Settings; Plug In Manager and see if all is well in there.
I just set it up again, and it works fine as long is the external is plugged in--which means I'm going to need a USB hub if I'm to have two keyboards and the external drive all running at the same time.
Is there a way I can set my KeyLab 88 to control the volume? Right now I can only adjust it on my computer.
I've got the already exiting patches to sound, but the new a Kontakt VST. Doesn't sound. When I tap the keyboard the keys light up and I can see the meter flashing on the MIDI window top-center. Just no sound.
Is anyone monitoring this community? Anyone out there?
Yup, the Kontakt VST is on an external. The weird things tho is that MainStage doesn't grab it. All my other MS patches sound whether Analog Lab (for example) is on or not. The K stuff only sounds when it can connect to the external, and sometimes not even then.
Glad you got it working but not sure I can advise on KeyLab controlling volume. You would need to map the KeyLab to MainStage and assign the volume on the KeyLab to MainStage.
