"Overheating" is an often overused and exaggerated word to describe when an iPhone is warm. Realistically, if your iPhone's interior temperature exceeds the device's normal operating range, it will display a "Temperature Warning" or more commonly "Charging On Hold" and will prevent you from using it until it cools. So if you don't see that message, you can continue to use your iPhone normally.

However, if you do see those messages, you should turn off your device, move it to a cooler environment (out of sunlight), and allow the iPhone to cool down. In addition, tasks such as leaving your iPhone in a car on a hot day, in direct sunlight for an extended period of time, or using graphics-intense apps can cause this. I looked and Saudi Arabia is very hot currently, stay cool!
