Siri Won't Take No or even Silence for an Answer

Lately, when I receive messages over CarPlay, Siri reads it to me, then asks if I want to reply. Regardless of my response, it then say, "What to you want to say to <senders name>?"

It will not quit asking me what I want to say. If I say cancel it sends "<senders name> Cancel"

I have, as I had before, Siri set to automatically send messages.

Also it has this annoying feature of starting the message with the sender's first name.

How do I go eliminate these problems?
