TikTok app crashes on iPad Air 2 after iPadOS 15.8.8

Delete the TikTok app and download it again from the App Store. That will clear the cache files used by the app that may be corrupted and also data from the App stored on your iPad to give it a fresh start. If you still experience problems, then you will need to contact TikTok Support.

This fix worked for me. Go to Settings > Battery > Turn on Low Power Mode then relaunch TikTok. Once it launches without crashing, you should be able to turn off low power mode again.

I wasted a lot of time troubleshooting including deleting and reinstalling the app several times with no success. Tried the above method once and worked right away.

Low Power Mode worked for me too. It is strange but I wonder how did you know the connection between tiktok crash and low power mode, it is even more strange 😳

I came across the suggestion on another online discussion group. The person was asked if they tried it and if it worked but they never replied. It was such a ridiculously easy solution to try so I thought why not. Sure enough, it worked and I was so glad I tried it. I'm glad you tried it too and had success like I did. Cheers!

I restarted my iPad , i undated TikTok app still didn’t work than i tried deleting the app than get it back it still didn’t work ! How do i contact TikTok support if I can’t get on the app ?

The link provided allows you to Login to their website for support when the app is not functioning. Unfortunately their live support is lacking with no direct contact number.

Any success in finding a solution? i’m experiencing the same, using an ipad and iOs16 (last update for this ipad). I logged a request into tiktok and I’ve had no response. Any info helpful —thanks.
