I am using an iPhone 16 Pro. I do not have the duck duck go app so I cannot delete it. I have changed the browser search engine to Google in Safari and my phone itself and now when I search for items, it still shows up as DuckDuckGo. How do I get rid of this thing?

The default browser search engine and a search app are two different things. If you have already changed the search engine in Safari settings, it may help to clear browser cache. How are you accessing search exactly?
And finally, what’s wrong with Duck? Far better in terms of privacy than Google.
I want to remove it because I prefer Google. What I do is clear the address bar although grayed, out it says DuckDuckGo. I Then type in what I want to search for. I have already cleared the browser cache and that did not help.

You might want to describe - in detail - what you changed, and where you changed it. What you posted is unclear.
Also, Chrome is not an Apple product, so you might want to check with the app vendor’s support.

Chrome is a web browser, not a search engine.

You might have some sketchy extensions installed, as I’ve never heard of DDG featuring Yelp except as part of organic search results.
