Siri no longer recognizes relationship names in contacts

I am re-introducing the issue with calling someone by relationship, which apparently has not worked properly since iPhone iOS 17?

So, I have contacts with relationship names, such as “brother”

I have other contacts which may include the word brother in their name, such as first name, Oscar,”(bob’s brother )”

If I say “call my brother” it will consistently choose some random contact with the word brother in the name. It no longer recognizes that “my xxx “ is a reference to a relationship name
