iPad app aspect ratio on external monitors?

Does apple have any plans to force aspect ratio for iPad apps used on a separate aspect ratio (such as on an extended monitor) like how iPhone mirroring on the Mac now supports stretching the aspect ratio. I say all of this since i’d say most apps and even some official apple apps do not stretch properly and if things are up to the developer some apps will simply never get support ever. (things like apple sports, roblox, any IOS application etc…)

I feel like if there was any time to add this “support” because yes it is supported just not enforced, it would be now along with the iPhone change.
