Dropbox Icon Gone After Tahoe Upgrade on MacBook Pro

I upgraded the OS on my MacBook Pro laptop to Tahoe a few days ago. Now my Dropbox icon is no longer visible in the menu bar and I can't find it anywhere. Anyone have any ideas on how to get it back?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 26.5

Go to  > System Settings > Menu Bar. Do you see the Drop Box toggle there to turn it on..

If your menu bar is full, the items on the left of the menu bar will automatically be hidden when that space is needed. You can disable some items at the Setting location above until the Drop Box item appears in the Menu Bar, then Command-Click on the Drop Box item and move it farther to the right so it is not one of the menu bar items that are hidden when it gets full.

If your Screen Resolution is set to make the display bigger for larger text, there will also be less space in the menu bar to display items.

If you use the third party app Bartender to also manage the Menu Bar, that app had a bug where it was not working correctly and could cause problems with the Menu Bar. You can check for an update to that app or remove and test to see if Drop Box shows up again.

It is certainly not a universal issue. From my M4 Pro Macbook Pro 14" running 26.5.1:

Could the "notch" be stopping it from displaying if you have a lot of Icons up there? Try temporarily disabling some others for testing and see it the Dropbox icon appears.

If the issue is crowding, you can also use System Settings > Menu Bar to change the date/time to a shorter version.

Thank you, I checked that and actually, Dropbox no longer appears as an option anywhere. It's like it got erased or something.

from your Applications folder:

You can download a fresh copy of the app and compare your results if n o insight...
