Hi,

To check if someone is using your iTunes account (now part of your Apple Account), you should verify your device list, review your purchase history, and inspect security settings.

1. Review Devices Signed Into Your Account Unauthorized users will appear in your device list.

  • On iPhone/iPad: Go to Settings > [Your Name] and scroll down to view the list of devices.
  • On Mac: Open System Settings > [Your Name] (or System Preferences > Apple ID) and check the devices list.
  • Online: Visit appleid.apple.com, sign in, and check the Devices section.
  • If you see a device you do not recognize or no longer own, select it and choose Remove from Account.

2. Check for Unauthorized Purchases Hackers often make purchases using stored payment methods.

  • Review your purchase history on the App Store or visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Look for unknown purchases or subscriptions that you did not authorize.
  • If you find suspicious charges, note the transaction IDs and contact your bank or Apple Support immediately.

3. Inspect Security Settings

  • Two-Factor Authentication: Ensure this is enabled. If you receive a verification code you didn’t request, someone may be trying to access your account.
  • Trusted Numbers: Check appleid.apple.com > Sign-In and Security to ensure no unfamiliar phone numbers are listed as trusted.
  • Email Notifications: Apple sends alerts for sign-ins from new devices or password changes. Verify these emails are legitimate (not phishing scams) and act on them if the activity is unrecognized.

Immediate Actions if Compromised

  • Change your password immediately.
  • Sign out of all devices via appleid.apple.com> Devices > Sign Out of All Devices.
  • Enable two-factor authentication if it is not already active.
