There is only one Apple Pay and it does not transfer funds. Are you referring to Apple Cash? If so, Apple Cash hasn’t changed.
You may have funds in your Apple Account. Apple Accounts are how gift cards cans be redeemed. You can also add funds from a bank account to your Apple Account. Funds in Apple Accounts cannot generally be withdrawn or transferred. Funds in an Apple Account are used exclusively to purchase goods or services from Apple Retail Stores and online at Apple.com/store.
