Unauthorized MacBook Air M2 logic board modification by AASP

Hello community,

I am looking for advice on the correct channel to report a serious issue regarding a local Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP).

I recently brought my MacBook Air (M2) to an AASP strictly for a visual diagnostic because it wouldn't power on. I did not authorize any repairs. When I picked it up, their official paperwork explicitly stated that no repairs or component changes were made.

However, immediately after picking it up, it was discovered that hardware modifications (soldering) had been performed on the logic board without my consent, which damaged the board.

I want to escalate this situation and provide my feedback directly to the corporate department at Apple that oversees AASP compliance and quality control. Could anyone point me to the correct contact link, feedback form, or specific phone department to submit a formal complaint about an AASP?

Thank you for your help!

I've written the short version here because I couldn't fit everything into one post.

I didn't open the MacBook; someone else (an unauthorized repair center) opened it and immediately contacted us, giving us the board, since it was ultimately beyond repair.

Then I called the first repair center (the authorized one), and they admitted over the phone that they had soldered the board, but I didn't consent to it. When I asked for their report, they gave me a report stating that they had only performed diagnostics and nothing more.
