Apple Podcasts website link redirects to Spotify

Hello everyone,

I recently created an Apple Podcasts listing for my website, and I've noticed something that I'm hoping the community can help clarify.

Previously, the website link associated with my podcast appeared to direct users to my website. However, it now seems to redirect to Spotify instead. I haven't intentionally changed this setting, so I'm wondering if this is expected behavior or if there is a way to control which destination the link points to within Apple Podcasts.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue, or is there a setting in Apple Podcasts Connect that allows the website link to point directly to my website rather than another podcast platform?

You don't give much to go on. there are three 'ricepuritytest' podcasts in Apple Podcasts. One originates from rss.com and the website link leads there, so that seems irrelevant. Looking at the podcast preview web pages:

https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/rice-purity-test/id1896920172 has a link which leads to:

https://ricepuritytest.bz/ which is 'The original Thresher Rice Purity Podcast'

https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/ricepurity-test/id1860337033 seems to be more likely to be yours. The link for the website is for https://ricepuritytest.love/ - there is no such domain and so the link is dead.

None of these has a link to Spotify - is that where you created your feed? To comment any further I need the URL of the feed you (or Spotify) submitted to Apple Podcasts.

Any time you have a query you need to post the URLs of both your Apple Podcasts preview page and your feed (unless you created the podcast directly in Podcasts Connect). Without this it's generally not possible to answer, or it requires a lot of detective work.
