So you changed your number? If you did, you need to sign out of iMessage/FaceTime and sign back in with the new number --> Add or remove your phone number in Messages or FaceTime - Apple Support

If you have an nothing works, it's time to contact Apple Support --> Contact - Official Apple Support

If this has been going on for 5 months, I think it's well past time to contact Apple directly for help.

See if this helps:

• Open Settings and scan down to and tap Apps
• Find and open Phone and scan to the bottom and turn on Dial Assist

What prefix?
