Tahoe. Request update patch to solve Thunderbolt Display "go dead" problem.

Mac mini. Apple M2 Pro Chip. Tahoe 26.5.1 OS. Apple Thunderbolt Display 27-inch (2650 X 1440). Problem: Upgrade to Tahoe lost support for the Thunderbolt Display. Solution: 1) Shut down Mac mini; 2) disconnect power from Thunderbolt Display; 3) Wait 20 minutes or so; 4) Start up and things are fine.

Then, a) wait until Mac mini goes to sleep; b) reawaken Mac mini; c) Result: Thunderbolt Display will not display, remains black screen; d) Is till "visible" in the Control Panel>Displays.

This is a Tahoe problem, since everything has worked fine for a very long time; and there have been other discussions mentioning this problem. Can Apple please patch Tahoe to take away this problem?

I have not seen pervasive reports of other users having problems with this display and Tahoe, and I read all complaints posted here about Displays, MacBook Pro, and Mac Pro.

What cables, Adapters, and Docks are you using to make the connection?

What other displays do you have, and how are they connected?
