Logitech Circle View: "Object not found" adding to Home

I have got a Logitec Circle View which worked flawlessly on a previous Wifi Network with Apple Home. I had to change my wireless network and decided to change the SSID.

My iPhone was on the new SSID and I tried Logitec's recommended approach: Logitec Support Article

This didn't work for me.

I removed the accessory, reset the camera following these steps: Logitec Support Article to Reset Logitec Camera

Since then I cannot add the camera back into my home. I receive an error message "Object not found".

I know it's related to my Home set-up and it's not the camera.

  • I am able to add the camera when I create a new home.
  • I restarted my iPhone, closed down the Home app, etc.

I would welcome some great advice.

Best regards

V.

The "Object not found" error in Apple Home typically means your Apple Home hub (Apple TV or HomePod) has cached the old accessory profile and fails to handshake with the freshly reset camera. Fix this by force-restarting your active Home Hub, ensuring your phone is locked to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band, and retrying the pairing.
