System Settings always shows 0% charge for Bluetooth devices

I'm using an old Magic Mouse, and Magic Keyboard, with a Mac Book Pro, 13-inch, 2019, on MacOS Sequoia 15.7.7. For some months, the pages in System Settings for each of these devices always showed 0% charge, even after the batteries (rechargeable AA) had just been charged. Following a suggestion from elsewhere in the Forum, I looked at the Bluetooth page in System Settings, clicked on the i (Information) button, and the battery charge level was there. Then I went back to System Settings, and the charge levels are now there, too.

This isn't a question, just passing on a suggestion for others who may have a similar issue.

You might also consider System Settings > Menu Bar > Menu Bar Controls : ☑️ Bluetooth. That will place a Bluetooth control on the menu extras bar that you can click and show (compatible) Bluetooth charge levels:

I have had at least two of the replaceable battery Magic Mouse I and finally gave up on their poor reliability and am now six years into my first (rechargeable) Magic Mouse II without issues.
