Favorites tab missing from Phone app toolbar

I am trying to find my contacts that are marked as favorites on my iPhone 16 PRO 2025 software version iOS 26.5. It is said to go to the phone app and look at the toolbar at the bottom. It is suppose to have several choices and one is suppose to be favorites.

However, I only have four choices- calls, contacts, key pad and search.

When I press contacts all the contacts come up and there is no marking which ones are favorites.

From Calls view, tap on the menu at the top right, then select Classic. Favorites will then appear on the bottom menu.

If you stay with the unified view, your favorites are across the top of the Calls screen.

See your Pinned Fav under calls or Use Classic View as shown in the Pic below

The Favourite tab is only available with the Classic view
