How to remove unknown Bluetooth devices from your iPhone?

Some third-party applications require Bluetooth connectivity. You may have granted access to the iPhone’s Bluetooth. Please disable the access to the application that may have been granted this permission.

Check if this remains connected even when you walk away to another room with concrete walls or say 100 feet away.

Try the following that may help remove the mysterious device

• Settings > General > Transfer & Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
• You may have some third-party apps installed especially for Audio, please delete that.
• You may have some profiles installed by some nearby Bluetooth accessories.

Can’t be certain, but based on an internet search, that would appear to be Govee LED strip light. It shows up because it is in bluetooth range (may not even be in your house). You are not connected to it, and can’t be unless you choose to and have Govee app installed. Ignore it, its not going to hurt anything. You can always turn off Bluetooth.

In these cases, this Bluetooth accessory has been paired via an app of yours which only communicates with that one app. They must be explicitly setup and within a few feet to operate. These are usually Smart watches, health monitoring devices, or home product apps. So go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Bluetooth, take a look at which apps have access, and disabling them should make it go away.

If there's no i next to it, you're not likely actually connected to it. There are many instances of BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) devices, which can appear in your Bluetooth list. For example if you go for a walk around your neighborhood, you may see connections to Echo devices from Amazon. You may have an app you use, which supports a Bluetooth device and it too can appear in your list.

What is the name of this device you're seeing in the list.

Do you have any Govee LED lights or light strips? Do you live in a condo or apartment that you might be seeing a neighbors lights.

If it keeps appearing and you do not own any matching device, I would treat it as an ordinary nearby accessory rather than a security issue unless it is actively connecting or controlling something. On iPhone, devices like this often appear with no “i” button if they are not paired in the usual way, which matches reports of unknown Govee identifiers.

Have you recently started using a set of LED lights? If you have downloaded an app to control those lights, that would be the source of the mystery Bluetooth device.

If you do this.......there will be an "i" next to the name of the device in Bluetooth settings on your iPhone....because your iPhone is now connected to the LED lights.
