Hi! This is a common issue with Tuxera NTFS on newer macOS versions. Even with Full Disk Access granted, there can be a few causes. Here's how to troubleshoot:
1. Reinstall Tuxera NTFS: Download the latest version from tuxera.com and reinstall it. macOS Sequoia 15.7 may have broken compatibility with older Tuxera versions. Check their website for Sequoia-specific release notes.
2. Verify Full Disk Access is correctly configured: Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access. Make sure Tuxera NTFS is listed AND toggled on. Also check that "tuxera_helper" or any Tuxera system extension is also listed there.
3. Check System Extensions: Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Security and scroll down to see if any Tuxera kernel extensions are blocked. If prompted, allow Tuxera's system extension.
4. Restart after granting permissions: After granting Full Disk Access, restart your Mac. Some permission changes don't take effect until after a reboot.
5. Check Tuxera Disk Manager: Open the Tuxera Disk Manager app (in System Settings or Applications). It should show your NTFS drives with read/write status. If a drive shows as read-only there, there may be a licensing issue or the drive needs to be remounted.
6. Try remounting the drive: Eject the NTFS drive and reconnect it after Tuxera is fully loaded.
If none of these work, check the Tuxera support forums as Sequoia 15.7 is relatively new and there may be a known compatibility issue with a patch pending. Hope this helps!

It turned out to be the disk.
Both on my M4 Mac Mini and 10 year old IMac I got similar messages.
It appears the disk had a file open, as if it had been unplugged without having been ejected.
The owner is repairing it on his Windoze machine.
